The International Conference of ELSA Tbilisi, as part of the Annual Human Rights Campaign, offers an exploration of the critical connections between criminal justice and human rights to its future participants. Over the Academic programme, attendees will not only engage in discussions on key topics such as human rights in criminal procedures, Introduction to Criminal Justice and Human Rights and the role of the International Criminal Court (ICC) but will also participate in practical workshops designed to bridge theory with practice.

These include panel discussions, interactive simulations, debates, roundtable discussions, and case studies. These workshops will provide participants with hands-on experience in addressing real-world challenges related to safeguarding human rights within criminal justice systems. Attendees will gain knowledge and practical skills that will improve their understanding of international structure for protecting human rights, providing them to take effective action in their legal, advocacy, and policy-making roles.
